Connecting Cultures, Preserving Heritage
Gi HomArts & Cultours Ltd was founded in 2020 by Mr. Kajuga Jerome, a cultural heritage expert and visionary leader, with a mission to preserve Rwanda's rich history and empower local communities. Inspired by the fading legacy of Huye Mountain, once the capital of the Bungwe Kingdom in the 15th century, Mr. Kajuga transformed a passion for heritage into action. What began in 2014 as Mountain Sports Club Ibisumizi evolved into a dynamic tourism initiative that celebrates the legends of King Ruganzu II Ndoli and Nyagakecuru, while protecting the mountain's hidden treasures.
Today, Gi HomArts & Cultours Ltd offers a remarkable cultural experiences that connect visitors with the land, its stories, and its people. From hiking and camping on Huye Mountain to tasting coffee at its source and engaging with local communities, every journey is designed to honor tradition and promote sustainable development.
Under Mr. Kajuga's leadership as Managing Director and his role at Rwanda's National Commission for UNESCO, the organization remains committed to one purpose: preserving the past, empowering the present, and inspiring. the future.
